Harold T. Johnson

Harold T. "Bizz" Johnson (December 2, 1907 – March 16, 1988) was an American politician from California and a member of the Democratic party.
==Biography==
He was born on December 2, 1907 in Broderick, CA. He was given the nickname "Bizz" at the age of 4. An uncle suggested that Johsnon be called Bismarck because he was leading the children, and the other children then started calling him Bizz.
He served on the Roseville, California city council from 1941 through 1949. He was elected to the California State Senate in 1948 and served until 1958 when he was elected to congress. He represented the 2nd Congressional district (later renumbered the 1st) until 1981. He was defeated for reelection by Republican Assemblyman Eugene Chappie, a former El Dorado County supervisor.
He died on March 16, 1988.
